The 145 km2 that compose Calvià's municipality are placed in the western part of the island of Majorca. For its geographical configuration each one enjoys one of the most suggestive parts of the Majorcan coast icluding 26 beaches with special characteristics, but also it is because also it  has an interior zone of a particular beauty. there, you will be able to enjoy magnificent places of saw pinegroves, almond-trees and all kinds of autochthonous vegetation.

The climate is Mediterranean with an average of
27ºC / 78,6ºF in summer and of 14ºC / 57,2ºF in winter, enjoying more than 300 days of Sun.

Calvià's origins go back to the prehistory, good sample of it are the archaeological remains that you can find in several deposits, of which the most important is the Puig de Na Morisca. Nevertheless, the first document where Calvià's name appears corresponds to the epoch of the Moslem domination. It was also on the coast of our municipality where another historical fact took place: The arrival and disembarkation
of king
Jaime I the conqueror in 1229.
